Shipping & Delivery
Do you offer expedited shipping?
We currently offer expedited shipping in the U.S. and the UK (flat rate expedited shipping costs $15 in the U.S. and £15 in the UK).
*Please note that expedited shipping is not offered on orders containing Body Mist.
Do you offer free shipping?
We do offer free shipping for qualifying orders:
- United States: Free shipping on orders over $50 USD
- Canada: Free shipping on orders over $75 CAD
- United Kingdom: Free shipping on orders over £50 GBP
*Please note this is subject to change based on promotional periods.
How much does standard shipping cost?
Shipping rates depend on the weight of the products in your order and your delivery location. Before finalizing your order at checkout, you can review and confirm the shipping cost.
My order was marked as delivered but I haven't received it.
We understand it's frustrating when a carrier has marked your order as delivered and you still haven't received it. We ask that you please allow the shipping carrier a window of two business days after the order was marked as delivered for it to arrive, as it's not uncommon for there to be a delay in this process.
If your order still hasn't arrived after two business days, please reach out to us at info@saltandstone.com so we can help.
Additionally, please keep in mind that any instances of damaged or lost items must be reported to Salt & Stone within 30 days of delivery.
What is your current processing and shipping timeframe?
Our current processing time is 3 business days. It can take an additional 3-8 business days for delivery, depending on the carrier.
Where do you ship from?
Orders ship from different locations depending on where the order is being routed to:
- United States: Orders ship from Valencia, California
- Canada: Orders ship from Brampton, Ontario
- United Kingdom: Orders ship from Greater Manchester, England
Where do you ship to?
We offer shipping within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam. We also ship to Canada and the United Kingdom. All orders are domestically dispatched from our warehouse locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
*Due to shipping restrictions, we are unable to ship Body Mist products to Alaska, Hawaii, and the U.S. territories at this time.

My package was stolen. What should I do?
We're so sorry to hear that your package is missing. Unfortunately, we're not able to file claims on packages that were stolen, so we recommend reaching out to your local authorities for help.

Can I edit my order after it has already been placed?
Please contact customer service at info@saltandstone.com as soon as possible if you need to modify your order. We'll do our best to accommodate your request if your order hasn't been processed yet.

Returns
Can I return or exchange an item that I received as a gift?

What is your return policy?
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase for items that are unused and in their original carton packaging. For health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns of opened, used, or tested personal care products, unless the item is defective or arrived damaged.
You will be refunded the full amount of the returned items, minus a $5 handling fee to cover restocking. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable, as these are paid directly to the carrier.
We are only able to accept returns from orders placed through saltandstone.com. For orders purchased through third-party retailers, please contact the original place of purchase.
*Note: Orders determined to be fraudulent or associated with suspicious activity are not eligible for return, refund, or replacement. Salt & Stone reserves the right to deny service or cancel orders that we believe are intended to exploit our systems or policies.
How do I initiate a return or exchange?
We're sorry to hear that you didn't love your items—to start a return or exchange in the United States, please visit our returns portal by clicking here.
For international orders, please reach out to info@saltandstone.com with your order number and the products you'd like to return or exchange. We'll be more than happy to assist you.
When will I receive my refund for my recently returned item(s)?
Refunds are issued once your return has been processed by our team, which typically takes 1-2 business days for review. Upon approval, the refund will be processed to your original form of payment or, alternatively, a Salt & Stone gift card. Please allow 3-10 business days for the refund to be reflected, depending on your banking institution.

How do I manage my subscription account?
You can pause, cancel, or adjust your delivery date at any time. You can access your subscription account and make changes here.

What are your subscription terms and conditions?
When you purchase a subscription, you'll receive repeat deliveries based on the subscription frequency that you select. Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries. Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration.
You can cancel, pause, or update your subscription at any time. Please make sure to cancel your next order 24 hours in advance of your next ship date. Your order confirmation emails will include links to your order details, and you can manage your subscription from there. Please make sure your Subscription account is activated in order to make changes.

Can I apply a promo code to any product on the website?

Can I apply a promo code to my subscription order at checkout?
We are unable to add promo codes to new or existing subscription orders due to the discount already applied to the subscription.
Can I price match a promotion from a Salt & Stone retailer partner?

Can I receive a price match on a recent promotion that I missed?

Are there any exclusions?
Yes, this offer is valid for full-size products only. Minis, pre-made sets, and gift cards cannot be included in a customized set. Please note that the Welcome Code discount is excluded from this offer.

Are Salt & Stone products Phthalate and Paraben free?
Yes, all of our products are phthalate and paraben-free.
Are Salt & Stone products safe to use during pregnancy and for kids?
While none of our ingredients would be harmful, we recommend always checking with your healthcare provider.
Are the fragrances used in Salt & Stone products natural?
Rest assured our fragrances are made from essential oils and synthetic isolates from natural sources. They are suitable for sensitive skin. Additionally, our scents have passed the EU IFRA and RIFM safety standards. They are also Paraben and Phthalate-free.
Are your deodorants aluminum free?
Yes, all of our deodorants are 100% aluminum-free.
Are your deodorants an antiperspirant?
No, our deodorants are not antiperspirants. They are formulated to neutralize odor while allowing your body to naturally perspire.
Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, our products are suitable for sensitive skin. Check out our Sensitive Gel Deodorant which is great for those with sensitive skin.
How do I store my Salt & Stone products?
We recommend storing your Salt & Stone products in a cool, dark place like inside of bathroom or vanity cabinets. Do not expose your products to high temperatures as this can effect the efficacy of your products.
Our recommended candle-burning tips.
Here are some candle-burning tips we recommend for optimal use:
- Trim your wick: the most important thing you can do for your candle is to trim the wick to 1/4 inch in length before each use, and each time the candle begins to smoke, or the wick "mushrooms." How often you trim will depend on the candle. Some candles require trimming once an hour, others once every 4 hours. Trimming will allow your candle to have a longer burn time and less smoke.
- Never burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid burning your candle in drafty area to minimize smoke. Burn only on non-flammable, heat-safe surfaces.
- If your candle is burning unevenly, simply extinguish the wick and move it to the center of the container (with a handy tool) while the wax is still soft.
- Discontinue use when 1/4" of wax remains.
Please note that leaving the wick uneven could result in the glass overheating and breaking.
Can I use the Body Mist in my hair?
Yes, it's okay to use our Body Mist in your hair. It's gentle enough for hair and every inch of skin—made with glycerin and red algae, the mist adds a delicate layer of moisture with every spritz.
How do I unlock my Body Wash Pump?
To ensure your Body Wash pump is working properly, try the following steps:
- Twist and remove the pump from your bottle.
- Firmly hold the stem while twisting your pump in a clockwise motion. This will allow the pump to open and dispense product. Ensure hands are dry, or try holding with a towel for a secure grip.
- Reinsert the pump into your bottle and try it again.
How long does the Body Mist last on the skin?
When it comes to fragrance longevity, everyone is different, but we find that it lasts a full day on most people. Layering with our body wash and lotion can also help the scent last longer.
On average, how long does one tube of deodorant last?
Used daily, we find that a tube lasts around 1-2 months. This time may vary depending on your personal use.
What is the difference between the Deodorant and the Gel Deodorant?
The Deodorant is formulated for 48-hour protection and is wax-based—it's our best seller. We recommend 2-3 swipes under each arm.
The Deodorant Gel is formulated for 24-hour protection and is water based with a gel-like texture, making it great for sensitive skin. Swipe on as much and as frequently as you please.
What is the shelf life of Salt & Stone products?
The shelf life of our products is three years when unopened. Upon opening, please consult the POA (Period After Opening) symbol on the packaging or container, which indicates the product's lifespan following its initial use. This symbol is represented by an open cosmetic jar accompanied by a number that specifies the number of months the product will remain effective after opening.

Is your packaging BPA free?
Yes, all of our packaging is all BPA (Bisphenol A) free.

Can I purchase a Salt & Stone Gift Card?
Yes, we currently offer gift cards for our U.S. customers. These gift cards can be used for any U.S. order—please note that both your shipping and billing addresses need to be within the U.S. in order to purchase or use a gift card.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club credit cards or debit cards. Unfortunately, we cannot accept checks or money orders.

How do I refer a friend?
Just enter your email to generate a personal referral link. Share it with friends and family—when they make their first purchase using your link, their discount will be applied automatically at checkout. After their purchase, you'll receive an email notifying you that you have a $10 credit.
How will I know if someone I referred made a purchase?
You'll receive an email notification about your $10 credit as soon as your referral completes their first order.
Can I apply more than one referral discount to a single order?
Referral rewards are applied individually and cannot be combined. One reward applies per order and cannot be combined with other order discount codes.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No, you can refer as many friends as you'd like. Every time someone that you referred makes a qualifying purchase, you'll receive a $10 store credit toward your next purchase (referral credits are applied individually and cannot be combined).
What if my friend cancels their order?
If a referred order is canceled before it's fulfilled, the referral reward will not be issued.
Why wasn't I able to refer a friend?
A few things may prevent a referral from processing: double-check the email for any typos, and note that referrals are only valid for new customers.
